Rifle Barrels
When we thread rifle barrels, we use a live center so we maintain concentricity between the threads and the ID bore.
Threading: We exclusively thread rifle barrels. However, we do not offer barrel threading on AK models, most rimfire calibers due to the extractor placement, or centerfire calibers smaller than .204 caliber.
1/2-28 threads: Minimum barrel diameter .570
5/8-24 threads: Minimum barrel diameter .695
3/4-24 threads: Minimum barrel diameter .810
Pricing:
Thread a rifle barrel: $130 if you provide the complete rifle, to account for disassembly/reassembly, or $100 if you provide the barrel or barreled action.
Shorten a rifle barrel, recrown & thread: $155 if you provide the complete rifle to account for disassembly/reassembly or $125 if you provide the barrel or barreled action.
Pin & Weld Muzzle Devices (no silencer pin/weld): $50
Remove a Pin & Welded Muzzle Device: $50
